The FinStand supports the FinCap and JAWS large or small screed chairs with a 1/2″ threaded rod. The stand can be adjusted 1-3/4″ (45 mm) to accommodate any variation in the deck. Use a nut and washer for fine tuning. See the chart below for rod size needed for the desired floor depth.
The stay-in-place forms are designed to stay in the slab. Corrosion resistant, even in extreme environments. They are non-metal and non-conductive which makes the chairs perfect for bridge decks, waterways, and power plants.
For expanded use the FinStand snaps into the Base Plate for use on vapor barrier or concrete overlay. Secure the stands with nails on a wood deck or screws for a metal deck.
Nylon threaded Rods sold separately. We recommend using steel threaded rod for slabs over 8” (200mm).
