The universal rotation gauge is designed to work on tube/pipe ranging from 1″ to 4″ outer diameter. This innovative design simplifies the process of marking rotation on your tube by providing a single spot that accommodates a wide range of sizes. The magnets included in the gauge offer strong holding power while still allowing for precise adjustments. The large tab ensures that the rotation gauge can be securely held at any angle, making it ideal for measuring the side plane of a tube at steep angles. This feature is particularly useful for accurately marking rotations on bends and assisting in notching tubes.

The accuracy of the rotation gauge is within +/- 1 degree. If you suspect that the gauge may have been bent (e.g., from being stepped on), you can easily verify its accuracy by using a level. Simply place the gauge on the tube, measure and mark 0 Grad, then flip it 180 Grad, align it with the mark, and verify that it is within 1 degree. If the gauge is indeed bent, you can adjust the bend at the large tab to bring it back into specifications.
