NOTICE

This bender is only suitable for 3/8″ & 1/2″ Außendurchmesser. soft copper/aluminum tubes! It is NOT suitable for EMT or Stainless Steel tubes! Soft tubes can be bent directly, but hard tubes need to be annealed to soften before bending! Please note that the nominal size of 1/2″ type M copper pipe is actually 5/8″ outside diameter. Therefore, this bender CANNOT bend type M copper pipe with a nominal size of 1/2″.

1. Can this bend type 1/2″ size type M copper pipe?

No, it can’t. Please note that the nominal size of 1/2″ type M copper pipe is actually 5/8″ outside diameter. This bender is only suitable for 3/8″ & 1/2″ Außendurchmesser. soft copper pipes. Therefore, this bender CANNOT bend type M copper pipe with a nominal size of 1/2″.

2. What kind of tubes is this bender suitable for?

This tubing bender is ONLY suitable for soft copper/aluminum tubes.

[Notiz: Stainless steel tubes, iron tubes, EMT tubes and other tubes are not applicable!]

3. What wall thickness is it suitable for?

This tube bender is suitable for tubes with a wall thickness of 0.6-2mm. If the wall thickness <0.6mm, the tube may be damaged.

4. Can it bend hard copper tubes?

Ja, but you need to anneal the tube to soften it before bending.

5. How to judge whether the tube O.D. is suitable?

The upper handle of the bender has two holes for measuring the O.D. of the tube. (Notiz: if the O.D. is too large, it cannot be used!)
