(see test video) Fits 3 ft to 12 ft Aluminum A-frame step ladders, and Fits 3 ft to 8 ft Fiberglass A-frame step ladders. *For Type 1AA (Extra heavy duty) ladders, the rear clamps will need to be reversed. Will fit all step ladders if retrofitted with stainless steel hose clamps or heavy-duty zip ties. See customer photos below.

Ladders outside of fitment range

The provided ratcheting clamps did not fit on this 12 ft Fiberglass ladder. The customer opted to use heavy-duty zip ties.

“The Ladderail gives me a lot of comfort when working high on that ladder with a 16-foot ceiling.”

The provided ratcheting front clamps did fit on this 16 ft Aluminum ladder but the rear ratcheting clamps did not. The customer opted to fasten the rear.

“I do a lot of 2 story lights and ceiling fans. Since wall heights vary from neighborhood to neighborhood the ceiling height can get to be a dangerous stretch. Pictured is a low one, they can get 2’ higher. This addition makes me feel much safer.”
