Product Description
The Eastwood Metal Bead Roller is designed for both professional and novice welders. It can add strength and rigidity to metal panels, make replacement floor pans, firewalls, trunk floors, and more, create channels, flanges, and a multitude of profiles, and fabricate decorative custom designs. The bead roller features handles that can accommodate up to a 38″ wide workpiece, comes with 4 mandrels, mounts securely in your bench vise, and can form steel up to 18 gauge and aluminum up to 16 gauge using industry standard 22mm shafts.
The Eastwood Bead Roller is excellent for strengthening ribs in panels and creating decorative custom designs in various sheet metal parts. It includes offset dies that can create channels, flanges, and different profiles. The gear-driven design of this bead roller delivers maximum forming power while requiring minimal handle force for accuracy. With a generous 19″ throat depth, it has the ability to work the center of a 38″ panel.
Included in the package are a 19” throat bead roller frame, crank handle, roller tensioning lever, and a set of offset/tipping dies pre-installed, along with three complete sets of roller dies: 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” bead forming dies, and six die set-screws. The bead roller can work with steel up to 18 gauge, aluminum up to 16 gauge, and stainless steel up to 20 gauge, with a maximum panel width of 38″ and a throat depth of 19 inches. It is constructed of 1/2″ solid steel plate.
For added convenience and versatility, additional accessories like different types of dies are available for purchase separately. Safety precautions should be followed when operating the bead roller due to the rotating rollers and gears, which can cause injury if not operated carefully. The Eastwood Metal Bead Roller comes with a 1-year certificate and is backed by Eastwood’s commitment to quality solutions and customer satisfaction since 1978.
