Aluminum Oxide is a highly effective cutting abrasive that is fast, versatile, and economical. It is the second hardest mineral on Earth, just after diamond. In wet and dry blasting applications, Aluminum Oxide can be used for cleaning, deburring, etching, and finishing. Its hardness makes it ideal for etching glass surfaces, as it is tougher than glass itself. Compared to glass blasting media, Aluminum Oxide has a longer cycle life and does not break down as quickly.
