This 2″ Copper and Stainless Pot Still Head comes with a Liebig Condenser and a commercial grade thermometer with a 3″ face. The column is 2″ in diameter. The Liebig condenser has a 1/2″ inner pipe and a 3/4″ outer pipe. The condenser is 27″ long. The cooling water connections are 1/2″ OD, so a 1/2″ garden hose will fit them perfectly. The condenser is connected to the column by a 1/2″ tri clamp and gasket. There is also a 2″ tri clamp and gasket included for attaching the column to your still. All of our Copper Heads and Columns are TIG welded using food grade DHP copper welding rod. This means that the welds are as strong or stronger than the surrounding metal. This DHP copper rod melts at around 1,700° F, while the Solder that our competitors use melts at around 400°F. Solder joints are not nearly as strong as our welds, plus solder is messy, runs and gets all over the metal, while our welds are tight, clean and pretty. This copper pot still head has a 2″ stainless tri clamp ferrule that will attach to a sanke type beer keg or any of our 3 to 8 gallon boilers. This item comes with a 1 year warranty which covers manufacturing defects and leaks. The column is 13 3/4″ long and the condenser is 32″ long.

Answer: The built-in condenser helps to efficiently cool and condense the vaporized alcohol, which allows for better separation of the alcohol from impurities. This results in a higher quality and purer whiskey.
3. Can I use this pot still column for other spirits besides whiskey?
Answer: Yes, this pot still column can be used to distill a variety of spirits, such as rum, vodka, and gin. The versatility of the column allows for experimentation and creativity in distilling different types of beverages.
