The Baileigh TN-250 Tube Notcher has a unique self-centering radial vise that allows the operator to clamp down on tubes (e altro ancora) in any direction, including in the middle of a bend. Anche, by using a truly self-centering vice, the tube notcher is the only hole saw tubing notcher that is always centered left to right, and up and down, no matter what size tube or pipe you have.
The backbone is made from heavy duty 3/4-inch steel plate and all component interlock to create a very rigid platform to reduce vibration and prolong the life of the hole saws. The shaft of the tube notcher is a 1.25-inch Thompson shaft that rides in sealed and oiled needle bearings. Unlike other tube notchers in this category, the two ends of the shaft are completely replaceable. This helps save time and money.
The tube notcher can notch up to 2.5-inch OD and allows large degree angles. The notching carriage can pivot up to 220 degrees allowing the operator to come from the “back side” of the notch. A large degree plate helps get these back side notches lined up. The TN-250 also has a fully adjustable axis to accommodate almost any notch combination.
