These 15 gallon barrels previously held rye whiskey from a U.S. craft distillery for a minimum of 2 years before being freshly emptied. They are now available for aging homebrewed beer, homemade wine, cider, or other beverages. Small-scale producers can also take advantage of these barrels for aging their products. The aging process will introduce oak, vanilla, rye spice, and other flavors to the beverages. Each barrel comes with one wooden bung in place, an extra wooden bung, and care instructions. It is important to note that these barrels have a head bung and must be filled from the top.
