LogRite’s 78″ Megahook Cant Hook is part of their Xtreme Duty series. The tools in this series feature the same aluminum and zinc-plated steel construction and 1.75″ diameter handles of those in the Standard series, but the handles are reinforced for added strength for use on the biggest of logs. Other features include a comfortable rubber handle grip and a yellow (instead of blue) powder coat that still makes them easy to locate on a woodlot or sawmill but differentiates them from their Standard series counterparts. All Extreme Duty series tools are compatible with LogRite’s Universal Log Stand to add timberjack functionality. The 78″ Megahook features a larger hook and accommodates logs from 15″ to 45″ in diameter.
