Our Technology

HimBuy Insights offers unique data and analysis for every item, aiding users in making more informed buying decisions. It focuses on three key areas buyers consider before purchasing on eBay: Popularity, Price, and Seller. Popularity provides data on view count, including insights into view frequency, supply, and demand. Price analyzes pricing for similar items to determine fairness and presents alternative options at varying price points. Seller offers a summarized view of each seller’s quality and trustworthiness. HimBuy amalgamates all this data to provide a simple 1-5 score for Popularity, Price, and Seller.

HimBuy features a proprietary ProductMatch™ algorithm, which retrieves up to 50 ranked similar items for a specified item. These items are considered similar if they can serve as replacements for the specified item. ProductMatch™ is especially useful for recommending items to buyers who have lost bids or as alternatives for watched items that have ended.

ProductMatch™ is capable of finding product similarities across different shapes and styles.
