For any solar fan to perform well, it will need power from a solar panel. If the solar panel is low wattage, the fan motor will not get enough power to run the fan. Amtrak Solar provides a 50 Watt High-Quality Crystalline Solar Panel. It could be installed in the gable vent or anywhere in the attic. This is a 12-volt DC fan configured to work with a solar panel. The fan turns on as soon as the sunlight hits the solar panel and runs all day, keeping the house cool and ventilated with fresh air circulation all day. You do not need to make holes in the roof. No need for electricians, permits, or inspections. Wiring is quick and easy. Solar panels come with 4 mounting brackets for the solar panel. Instructions to install the solar fan are included. 15 feet of wire is included with a quick-connect fitting. Free optional thermostat upon request. Built in the U.S.A.
